The upcoming adventure game of the year, “The Legend of Zelda,” will be released this year, thanks to Nintendo America president Reggie Fils-Aime, who was interviewed at “Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 about launching the game this year.
The game will be available only for Wii U.
The game will be embracing an open-world design and will be returning to the series’ roots. The Legend of Zelda takes place in a fully connected over-world, similar to the original “The Legend of Zelda,” with less emphasis on defined entrances and exits to dungeons. The best part about the new version of “The Legend of Zelda,” is that it allows players to have more freedom over previous games, allowing them to decide their destination and method of travel.
The over-world can also be traveled on foot or on Zelda's horse, Epona. Epona automatically avoids obstacles, allowing Zelda to concentrate on other tasks, such as: shooting arrows, slicing monsters with his powerful sword, etc. Zelda can leap off Epona and enter bullet time to better aim his bow at enemies. The game world, said to be the largest one in any Zelda game, is as large as the Wii U's hardware can handle.

The Zelda franchise has come a long way since the mid 80’s till now, and to see how they are remastered, is simply amazing.
This game could be one of the best Wii U games ever created.
There are two other Zelda remastered games that will be coming soon this year: Twilight Princess HD and Majora’s Mask.
