The upcoming shooting game ever, will be scheduled to be released next year and will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Although Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed until 2017, that doesn't stop us from being ridiculously excited about Bioware's next adventure. We've waited patiently for nearly four years for another Mass Effect game. It might not be the follow-up to Mass Effect 3, but we're still highly anticipating a new arc to the Mass Effect storyline.
Mass Effect Andromeda should be quite the fresh take on the much-loved series, as it looks to take inspiration not only from the original games but also from BioWare's other game series such as "Dragon Age."
Shepard's storyline closed with Mass Effect 3 - whether you liked the ending or not - and now it's time for a new hero to shine.
"A new adventure awaits in the Mass Effect universe. With stunning visuals and a new galaxy to discover, BioWare delivers the next generation of space exploration," reads the synopsis for the game.
Gameplay
Mass Effect Andromeda was born, and it came with a release date for "Holiday 2016" at the E3 2015 convention.
Our hearts were all a flutter with anticipation, especially when EA unveiled the game's first trailer.
But sadly, the Mass Effect Andromeda release date has now been pushed back to early 2017.
EA CFO Blake Jorgensen stated during an interview at a business summit that Mass Effect Andromeda would be available in Q4. However, rather than that being calendar year, Jorgensen was referring to the fiscal fourth quarter. That stretches from January to March 2017, rather than September to December 2016.
In the gameplay, players are able to play as either a male or female human character. They will be able to pilot the new, customizable Mako, a six-wheeled buggy-type vehicle seen in the reveal trailer and driven in the first Mass Effect game.
So, I guess we are not going to play the new Mass Effect game until next year.
